Zero-To-$150 Million: The Turning Point …

Zero-To-$150 Million: The Turning Point …

Hey, There’s a key turning point in all entrepreneurs careers. It’s the moment that little side business they have becomes a full time pursuit, and they drop their main source of income (their job) to focus on it. It’s a big moment, because it means they now have a lot more time to build up their business. But it also means the stakes just went up; now there’s no back up plan. When I first started Googling ‘make money online’ sometime in October 2008, it was just a curiosity to me. Even if I could make an extra hundred dollars a day on the side with it, I would have been satisfied. The more I learned about it, the more potential I saw. At some point in mid-2009 I was serious enough about internet marketing to quit the part-time jobs I was doing, like mowing the lawns and working as a waiter. I got to a stage where I was thinking, “Look, I’m either going to do this all the way, or I’m not going to do it at all.” Because there is really no middle ground. The next day I also went down to my university and I said, “I want to put all my classes on hold.” I started working full-time at a desk in the corner out of my bedroom on my business. I mentally became a lot more committed to it … I finally reached that point where I said to myself, “Look, I either need to make a decision right now and just go all in, or I’m just going to stop doing this.”...

Advice: How to Make a Lot More Money, in Less Time

So much to do … so little time. You ever feel like that? There was a time when I believed that ‘one day’ I’d get on top of all the stuff I had to do in my business. Now I realize there’s always going to be more things to do. More importantly, I realize it’s not about getting everything done; it’s about getting the right things done. Back in 2014, I flew into a seminar in Chicago being held by Perry Marshal and some guy called Richard Koch. I knew Perry pretty well as a marketing guru and Google Adwords guy… over the years, I’d bought some of his products and always admired his sales copy. But Richard I didn’t know. The first I’d heard about him was through Perry, where he explained Richard was worth several hundred million dollars, and that he only worked a couple hours a day. Hearing that was enough to get me to pay the $4,000 ticket price and fly to the event; I had to find out how he did it. How was it humanly possible to be that successful in business, and work so little? At the time, my own business was doing multiple 7 figures in revenue (we did about 30m in 2014), and was considered ‘successful’ by most people looking in from the outside. But I was working 7 days a week, and 14 hour days. I have no problem working long hours because I love what I do. But if I could take Richard’s productivity secrets and apply them to my own working hours, and still work 14 hour days, I’d be able to rapidly...
The Future…

The Future…

Hey, I think it’s been like 7 days since I sent you a live email broadcast – waaay too long.  I have no excuse, other than to say things have been insanely busy here. The first thing that’s been happening, is the acquisition of a brand new office for MOBE head quarters. See the big building in the middle of this picture? Well, it’s about 44 stories high, in a really good central location in downtown Kuala Lumpur (which has been my main base since 2014). At the top of that building is a 6,000 square foot office, which MOBE will be moving into in about 4 months. We are already in the building, but, the company is spread out over 5 different offices on different levels (I’m on the 12th floor right now writing this to you). So it will be good to have the entire team in the one office, just so we can communicate easier. Right now the entire 44th floor we’re moving into is empty and unfurnished. So I’ve been meeting with designers and getting mock-ups on different layouts.  I want to create a really cool, modern office that people actually want to go to.  Not the traditional corporate cubicles so many big company’s have. MOBE is going to be on one side of the floor, and then the other (which you see in this photo) will be turned into shared office space I’ll rent out to start-ups. We’ll also use this space to create our first ‘education center,’ complete with a seminar room, where business owners can come in and get training. The training...
Quick post before I catch my flight to Thailand

Quick post before I catch my flight to Thailand

Hey, In about 30 minutes I’ll be getting a taxi to the airport, to fly over to Thailand for our Titanium Mastermind.  Usually with these big events, I’m making a 20 – 30 hour trip just to get to the venue.  But because I’m in KL now, it’s only going to take 1 hour to get there.  Which is awesome! Anyway, it’s been a super busy week. Mainly because I launched Traffic Generator Pro, our new 30 step traffic training coaching program. I’m sure you’ve bought traffic training programs before that promised to show you how to get more leads. Most of them probably left you disappointed right? The main problem was, as soon as they showed you something you didn’t quite understand, you got stuck.   There was no one around to answer your questions, and help you actually implement the strategies. Well, this program is not like that. With TG Pro, you’ll actually have your own personal traffic coach who will get on the phone with you and explain things. Each session will go for a full 30 minutes. You get 10 of them, as you go through the 30 steps. (where else can you get 10 x 30 minute training sessions with a qualified traffic expert for just $49 / month?) After you complete those first 10 sessions, if you choose to continue in the program you’ll get another 2 x 30 minute sessions each month just to keep you on track. I do have a little bit of bad news though (well, bad news if you’re someone who puts things off till the last minute). On Saturday,...
