Update

  Hola from Costa Rica. It’s been awhile … let me bring you up to speed on what’s been happening. I’ve now been here for the last 2 months. When I flew over, I intended to be here for 3 weeks … maybe 4 weeks tops. But, finishing up the MOBE Resort has taken a lot longer than I anticipated. I’m almost done though. Tomorrow our kitchen will be fully set up, the chef and his team will arrive, and food will start being served (a huge milestone for us, it’s taken almost a year to get to this point). Within the next 10 days, we’ll have at least 12 rooms ready (air conditioning, tiles, furniture, bathrooms, etc. all brand new). Also, I finally settled on a name! I’m going to call it ‘Sunset Del Mar Resort.’ I’m getting the logo done for it on 99designs—you can vote for your favorite one so far here. While all of this has been going on, MOBE has been doing very well. We are on track for an all-time record sales month, beating the previous record, which was set last month. There’s a lot of momentum behind MOBE these days, but it wasn’t always this way. In the beginning, it felt like it took me literally years to get any momentum. You ever feel like that? Listen, the hardest sale you’ll ever make in this business is going to be your first one. Once you have the first, the 2nd and 3rd follow shortly after. And the hardest 100k you’ll ever make in this business, is also your first. Going to 200k, 300k, 400k, and beyond is actually much...

Costa Rica update {photos inside}

  Hey, It’s been a long time since I sent you a live broadcast email—too long. Things have been crazy, but in a good way. I’ve been on the road the last 2 weeks. First stop was New York, and then to Las Vegas for the Super Charge Summit. From there I went down to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where I stayed at the Sheraton Hacienda. This is one of my favorite resorts (easily a top 3), and the location of the very first Titanium Mastermind I ever did back in September, 2013. I wasn’t there for a holiday though; I was there to get design ideas for the new MOBE resort. After more than 18 months of searching and trying to put deals together, we finally got our first resort, and it’s in Costa Rica. Right now there’s 37 rooms, but plenty of room to add more on the 8 acres of beach front property. I’m here right now in fact, filming some videos to share with you. Expect to see them soon. One of them is a ‘before and after’ style video where I’ll show you the condition the resorts currently in (right now it wouldn’t qualify for One Star). Then in about 5 months, I’ll shoot the ‘after’ video where it will be transformed into a Five Star resort. I’m recording a lot of videos showing all of this on Snapchat—if you want to watch from your phone, just get Snapchat then add me as a contact. My username is ‘mattlloydmobe’ (send me a personal message too if you like, and I’ll reply) If you’re wondering why I bought a resort,...

Keeping you accountable for the next 9 days

++++ If you’re struggling to get the essential things done in your business (those things that produce large surges of sales), then scroll on down to the PPS of this email. I can help you. ++++ Hey, It’s been awhile since I sent you a live broadcast email. So I thought I’d share a short video I recently filmed in Bali with a client, while white water rafting. It’s about the most important daily habit you can have in your business: >>>Watch here. This was filmed at the Diamond Mastermind we did a month back. At these events, we do a lot of activities between the training sessions in the seminar room, so they’re a lot of fun. Watch till the end and you’ll see where we nearly fall out of the boat—this is what happens when filming live! Talk soon, Matt PS. On Wednesday, I have something incredible I’m going to email you about. It’s a new training program I’ve put together that teaches you how to generate ‘top tier’ commissions online … making anywhere from $1,250 per sale, right up to $10,000. You don’t need to do any of the sales yourself—I have systems in place that take care of that for you. Watch your inbox on Wednesday for my update. PPS. Ok. So lets talk about me helping you experience massive growth in your business during the next 9 days. Let me explain. Last night I got home from Costa Rica. From the beginning of my journey (which started 4am driving to San Jose), to the time I walked into my apartment, it took 43 hours....
The Richest Man in Fiji

The Richest Man in Fiji

Hey, So last week I decided to take a quick 4 day trip to Fiji, after hearing there’s an island for sale with a small resort on it. I immediately thought, “that could make a great destination to host MOBE masterminds in the future” – and even though the price of island is pushing the boundaries of what I can pay, I still wanted to go check it out. You can see how incredible the island is in this short video I made on my iPhone while there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-3LhhP2mOU&feature=youtu.be It’s 48 acres, and takes a good 20 minutes to walk around. As for how much it’s selling for… it’s approaching 8 figures.  Plus, if I was to build a 200 room resort on it (which is what I’d want to do), it’d cost another 50m or so.  Big money – and way outside of my comfort zone. But that’s one of the main reasons I went to see it. You see, as business owners there’s a tendency for all of us to settle into comfort zones. Maybe you crossed 6 figures in revenue for the first time, through taking big risks and coming up with innovative, bold marketing campaigns. But once you got to that level, you started to focus more on preserving what you’d built, rather than striving to get to the next level. We all do this from time to time. And if you’re not on guard against this tendency towards that warm, safe comfort zone, your business will suffer.  You won’t scale. For me personally the idea of getting my own island and building a 200...
